Loading... Please wait...Now in its 22nd year, and its sixth generation, this Rodney Powell ELITE Body Protector is the best selling zip closure body armour from Rodney Powell.
This success is due to its development process, continual innovation as well as repeatedly working closely with many of the world’s leading event riders.
The Elite is lighter, more breathable and more flexible than ever before. These protectors have new ‘Flextec’ technology in the back panels for those who may want it, but also offer the X2ESP back system, which offers enhanced spinal protection.
The front panels offer fantastic flexibility with the 4 layer glide architecture of the ‘Flextec’, combined with a comfort panel to provide superior comfort over the abdomen.
We now have with a choice of two different back options. Firstly the ‘Flexiback’, for riders who want extreme comfort and flexibility, as it utilises 4 layers of super-soft Nastec™ gel foam for rapid moulding to the wearers shape.
The second is our ‘X2ESP’ [Enhanced Spinal Protection], for people who feel the need for increased spinal protection from their Body Armour.
The centre back panel reduces the transmitted energy from sharp impacts to the spinal region to less than half the amount required to pass BETA Level 3. Highly recommended for the serious eventer.
