Kentucky was founded in Solingen, Germany in 1961 by Siegfried Schroeder. His son Uwe and his wife Kirsten who is an avid rider and competitor in Germany are now running the company.   

Kentucky uses only the finest, most durable European fabrics. Being master tailors by trade both Uwe and Kirsten are able to design extremely comfortable breeches made of finest fabrics that flatter different body types.
