Features:
This Charles Owen GR8 Riding Helmet is at the cutting edge of fashion. With today’s rider apparel using softer tonal shades and peach effect fabrics, the move is from the more formal velvet to the softer suedes.
The striking two tonal design immediately identifies the rider with some of the top riders of the world.
The GR8 breaks the mould with tradition and is low profile giving that more compact and sporty look, it is covered in a microfibre faux suede which has been coated for a stain resistant finish that will not crack or dry out due to its microfibre technology.
The traditional six panel velvet construction has been replaced with a sweeping retro look and the top button has gone along with the bow, only to be replaced by the most famous logo in equestrian helmets today. The soft suede continues throughout the harness and coordinates with the side panels.
Colours available: All Black or Black sides with Charcoal centre. Other colours can be custom ordered please contact us for details.
Helmet fitting available by our certified Charles Owen fitter.
Charles Owen is the only manufacturer that has a wide range of helmets that are independently certified to the three most recognised standards in the world.
There are many arguments about which standard is the best in the world. Making helmets to all the major recognised standards is Charles Owen's way of winning no matter what the outcome.
It is only small helmets that they decided to stay with the European and British approach. They believe that the ASTM standard requires too stiff and bulky helmets for little heads. In the laboratory it may be okay, but Charles Owen's mission is to use their expertise to protect the riders of the future from helmets that are too stiff and that may cause neck injury due to their bulk.
Charles Owen products are uncompromisingly built for safety. Can you compromise safety?
