These Back on Track Hock Boots can be used in the treatment of a variety of injuries and problems associated with inflammation in the hock joints. This unique fabric increases blood flow to injured or inflamed tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints, thus speeding up healing and recovery time. 

Interior is 50% cotton and 50% polyester fabric infused with ceramic particles, while the exterior shell is made of neoprene. In order to minimise the risk of the brace sliding down, it is recommended to wrap a bandage or some vet wrapping just below the hock boot the minimize slipping. This will stop the boot from sliding down the horse's leg and there will be no need to pull on the Velcro so hard to make it more secure.

Back on Track's joint and muscle support are all made of functional textiles with heat reflective properties. This wonderful material is a synergy of ancient Chinese experience and modern scientific textile technology. During the manufacturing of polyester or polyester fibres, the ceramic particles are fused into the fibres.

When heated, the ceramic particles radiate heat back towards the body and this reflected heat is long-wave heat radiation, which is also known as long wave infrared radiation.

Heat Radiation and Injuries:

It is well established and documented that long wave infrared heat radiation increases the blood circulation. The increased blood circulation in the tissues helps to relieve muscle tension and improves performance. One important issue is injury prevention, when protective wear is used for training and competition.
